Editorial Policy

Evidence, assumptions, AI assistance and corrections.

Effective date: November 3, 2026

SiftMint publishes documentation-based software research and original decision frameworks. These standards distinguish inspected evidence, editorial judgement and hypothetical examples.

Sources and verification

Use official documentation, pricing, terms and changelogs where possible. Identify when facts were checked, including the relevant plan, billing period and limits. A previous checking date is not proof that a fact remains current.

Research versus testing

State whether a product was personally tested. Do not imply hands-on use based only on documentation, third-party reviews or AI research. Do not invent quotes, testimonials, statistics, scores or results. Explain who a tool suits, its limitations, alternatives and assumptions.

AI assistance and review

AI assists with research, outlining, drafting, editing and illustrations. Claims must be checked against inspected evidence. The individual operator remains responsible for approving publication, editorial choices and corrections. AI-generated concept illustrations are labelled and are not product-test evidence.

Recommendations and relationships

Disclose affiliate or sponsored relationships separately from factual assessment and near the relevant content. Compensation is not evidence of product quality. Commercial enquiries do not guarantee coverage, favourable treatment or a ranking. See the Affiliate Disclosure.

Corrections and updates

Send correction requests to earthfigtree@gmail.com with the page URL, disputed statement and supporting source. Review time-sensitive facts and identify material updates. Keep hypothetical savings, costs and scenarios separate from actual results.
